Spring quarter has ended and I haven't posted any updates in a while, so here is a mass-update. XP

I've gotten grades for 4/5 of my classes. Not as good as they should be, but I admit, I did slack just a bit this quarter, if you can even call it that, lol.

ARCE 227 // TBA

Sadly, my GPA continues to drop. I just want it to get up to a 3.0, but that seems impossible right now. x_x

So yeah.. I wish I worked harder in studio, but I didn't even go to class for the second half of class, so yeah... I forgot to take pictures of my model, but I'll take some when I get back in SLO and will post them up then.

Anyway, that C in 223 kinda sucks, but whatever. On the final, I thought I did better than my score, but I don't really care to check up on it when I'm back in SLO 'cause I'm lazy. C is passing and that's pretty much all I was hoping for in that class, since I thought I'd fail for the longest time.


During finals week, I actually did not study as much as I should have. On Wednesday night, I cleaned for hours instead of studying for 227 and yeah.. Good news is that my room is almost semi-clean. Bad news is that I pretty much sucked at 227 final -- hopefully I can still get a good grade in there -- probably not the A- I wanted anymore though... =/

I bought a bookshelf on E-Bay last week -- it was like, $50 including shipping, so not too bad -- now I just need to rearrange my room so I can the bookshelf into it. XP Then I can finally unpack the boxes in my room that are still filled with stuff, since there was no room to unpack it at the beginning of the year. Sucks that my room is smaller than my old one -- and has less closet space to hide stuff that I can't unpack. x_x But yes, looking forward to having lots more shelf space! XD And since my roommate isn't gonna be there during the summer, I won't feel as bad moving half my stuff into the living room to make space to rearrange. XP


Headed home on Thursday night -- or should I say Friday morning? I left with Teresa and Jeff -- they were heading to Riverside, but were gonna drop me off at Union Station. We left around 12:45AM and yeah.. The cats were being super troublesome in the car. x_x One of them threw up on Jeff and then we had to stop at a gas station and clean up -- 20 minutes wasted. Then about 15 minutes after that incident, the other cat (who was in the carrier) decided to poop and pee in the carrier, so we had to stop at another gas station and clean up -- almost an hour. x_x So gross, 'cause I was sitting NEXT to the carrier, so I felt some pee go on me when Jeff kinda made a sharp turn and yeah.. Afterwards, the carrier smelt like pee. Ewwww!

Got to Union Station around 4:15 in the morning, and just sat there and read Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon while waiting for the earliest train to San Diego (which was at 6:05AM). Got half-way through the book before the train came, then got on the train and had a debate on whether I should continue reading or go to sleep -- sleep was the victor, so about 2.5 hours of sleep in total, but woke up a bunch of times, 'cause yeah, super uncomfortable sleeping on the train. x_x


After I got off in SD, went on the trolley and took it to the station that is near my house and aznearthdragon picked me up. Unfortunately, she took me hostage and wouldn't even drive me home. x_x Instead, we went to UCSD 'cause she had a final and had to finish studying in the library. So yes, was at UCSD in the library for hours waiting for my sister to while she took her test. I got most of my CSI scholarship essay written during that time, thankfully, so not all was lost. XP

When aznearthdragon finally finished, we went and hung out with three of aznearthdragon's friends. After that, we got some frozen yogurt and went home. Must say that taro frozen yogurt is TEH SHIT! XD I love taro froyo. XD Too bad there is none to be had in SLO or I'd be all over that. XP Sadly, I will be deprived of taro-flavored stuff when I head back up. =( Except at Quickly's, but I don't go there often, so...


Anywayz, didn't do much the few days I've been here in SD. Mostly just stayed home -- I'm so boring, lol. And yeah.. watched basically the whole second season of Greek -- I love that show, lol. I especially love Calvin and think he deserves more air-time. XP But yes, today was the season finale and yeah.. CLIFFHANGER! WHY?! I hate when they do stuff like that, and now we'll have to wait until the next season. =( And I don't even have TV, so more suffering for me. =/


So, not sure if I mentioned it before, but I'm going to CONSTRUCT 2009 in Indianapolis! Flight leaves at 6:40AM -- hope it's super fun. XD I'm gonna get a bunch of free stuff at the product show! XD And hopefully make a lot of contacts so I can get a job/internship later, lol. XP I'm not really good at networking, 'cause I'm a quiet person, but hopefully it goes well.

After Indianapolis, gonna fly back to SLO for summer school. Hopefully it'll be a good summer -- taking studio, so might be kinda stressful. =/ And my CRP 336 class got canceled, so I'm super pissed. x_x LAMENESS! Hopefully I get into this Intro to Shakespeare class for my last GE, or else I have to rearrange my whole schedule I planned out for the rest of my time at Cal Poly. Yes, I'm one of those lame people who have every class and quarter planned out. XP But it was based on taking 336 this summer and if I don't trade in the GE this summer for that class later on, then I'm screwed. I'm basically at 20-ish units each quarter, so I can't just not take the GE this summer and add 336 and the GE in during the year. x_x 2nd on the waitlist, so hopefully I get in. XD


Gotta sleep now, so more updates later! I will totally do a convention report next! And probably be crossposting that into my Cal Poly CSI blog, since I've been neglecting that too...

So it seems like forever since I've posted here. @_@ I know I was not missed, haha. XP But yeah.. School was sucking up all my time and next thing you know, blogging was pushed aside. =/ But now it's summer (about a week in now! =O ) and I will be back to posting because I have nothing else to do, of course. XP

So, last time I posted, it was in April and was a post recounting the days I didn't post, as was the post before it. Seeing as it's been months since then, I don't think I can recount every single day, but I'll try to hit all the interesting points.. or whatever. My life isn't that interesting, so I dunno.. More like the things I remember and the things I should talk about. XP

MAY

GOING HOME
So the first highlight of May, I suppose, was going home the first weekend of it. XD The first week was basically BREAK week in architecture when meant break in everything to me, so yeah. Perfect opportunity to go home, right? Totally! So I left on Thursday (the 3rd) after history because I didn't want to miss history and yeah.. Had to take Greyhound which sucked ass and yeah. Boring ride and then... STRANDED at the LA Greyhound station. I swear, I was so pissed off. It's like, Greyhound is not responsible if there aren't enough seats on the bus, so bus is full, I have to wait fir for the next bus. Let's just say, being stranded for FOUR HOURS with a bunch of Mexican people who don't speak English and don't see fit to explain the situation to me was NOT cool. x_x I was so pissed off.. Finally got on the next bus and didn't get to SD until seven in the morning and I was SO not impressed. >O

My mom came and picked me up, went home, ate, then went to nap for a couple hours 'cause obviously I didn't get that much rest time in, what with being STRANDED and all. After that, I dunno.. TV and whatever. But good to be home, as always.


BRIGADE COMPETITION
So May 5th was Brigade competition, at Kearny, of course. Got up bright and early at 4:00 in the morning with aznearthdragon and got ready and went to school. So early. ;_; But yeah.. Hung out with people and watching them practicing and all that. Watched the competition and yeah.. You know how it is. XP And now, my crappy videos..

After the competition, hung with bobbleheadvi while aznearthdragon went to do whatever she had to do for school. Ate at K's, then waited around for Mira Mesa. They were pretty awesome, like whoa. After that, had to go home, and yeah.. That was pretty much the weekend.


SAN FRANSISCO
On the 18th, after physics, went to the bus stop to go to San Fransisco. The bus was almost two hours late and yeah.. LONG bus ride. x_x But finally got there and yeah.. Me and Teresa stayed with Amanda at her aunt's house. That night, we played a video game ((Mario something or whatever.. I dunno, I'm not a games person!)) and Amanda and Teresa were ganging up on me just because I kept beating them. Such meanies!

On Saturday, met with the class and wandered SF. Took a whole bunch of pictures of buildings and the like, but only posted the pictures with people in my Facebook. Albums are HERE and HERE. Teachers were mean 'cause they kept ditching us. Like, once, we were walking across the street and the light changed, and half the class made it while the other half was stranded on the opposite side and the teachers looked back, saw we were left behind, and kept walking. x_x LAMENESS! And then there was a street fair when we were going to the SOMA house and the teachers totally took us down the street fair path even though the possibility of getting lost was increased by a million and walked WAY fast and didn't even slow down or look back. x_x LAMENESS! And yeah.. But eventually finished and then went around shopping for a while before leaving.

Stopped by to check out Amanda's place while her aunt got Chinese, then went back to her aunt's place to eat. After that, played some games, then went into the hot tub for a while. After that, more games, then bed.

Got up extra early to get ready and went to the train station to go back to SLO.


MEMORIAL WEEKEND
bobbleheadvi came to visit me on Memorial weekend. Came on Friday, the 25th in the evening. That day, I was with Amanda getting stuff from Home Depot then working on marking out the wood pieces for the base. Had to get food for my babe and he came around 9:00. Finished up and just hung with my dork and stuff. XP

Saturday was our one year anniversary. We got up and went to school to see the fifth year show. It wasn't as impressive as I thought it'd be. After that, played a game of bowling, then went and bought supplies for my project. After that, went back to my place to hang, then went downtown later to hang around and eat sushi.

Sunday, we went to Madonna and shopped, then ate at Hometown Buffet. After that, went back to my place and napped and I worked on my essay. After that, just hung out and did a whole bunch of nothing, of course.

On Monday, I dunno what we did, but I'm sure it was pretty boring. XP Probably went to buy food at Albertson's and was just boring at my place. I dunno, haha.

Tuesday, got up early so I could go to the shop and work on my project, then got pizza and ate before walking my dork to the bus stop so he could go. =(

JUNE

ARCHITECTURE & DEAD WEEK
So after Memorial Day, it was hardcore projecting. Last project of the quarter and year was called Poche and it was basically a project in which we had to make a wall. Wall had to include a door, window, stair, and ramp. It may sound easy, but it wasn't. So worked on that and it was due Tuesday night of Dead Week. Thank goodness that was over. Had a speech in English on Monday and that sucked too, but besides that..

Wednesday was the review. It was boring, as always. My project sucked, of course. I didn't take that many pictures 'cause I was lame and didn't want to, but you can check out the walls in my Facebook albums HERE and HERE.

After Wednesday, it was basically easy breezy, haha. At least, in my opinion, even though I had a lot to do still.

Wrote my English essays and revised and stuff on Friday and the weekend. Also studied for finals and yeah...


WORKING OUT
So after the relief of finishing the project on Wednesday, it was the kickoff of me and Teresa's workout time. Proud to say that since that Wednesday up until the day before I moved back, we went to the rec and worked out everyday for at least an hour, usually more. Good for us, haha. It was hot in the afternoons when we did it, but we did it. XP


FINALS WEEK / MOVING OUT
Had to turn in my essays and revisions for English on Tuesday afternoon. Had our physics final on Wednesday afternoon, which I sucked at, and yeah.. Thursday evening, had our history final. BLEH! And Friday was filled with getting storage and then the rest of the day full of packing. Oh joy of joys. It was such a mess in my room. But yeah.. At least I got everything done and then slept.

:Saturday, had to get up at 7:00 'cause my parents called. Got ready and parents got there around 7:40 or whatever and thus started our move-out adventure. Moved most stuff out, then went and put that in storage, then came back and moved everything else into the van. Then checked out at 11:45, then went to Carl's Jr. to eat. After eating, went to return my library books at school, then went to put the last few things into storage. Then we were off to home.

Major traffic once we got to LA and the Hollywood area. Sucked. Went to grandparents' house to eat dinner and wait out traffic, then left there at nine to go home. Got home at 11 and yeah.. SLEEP!


TIFFANY'S GRADUATION & LAST WEEK
Monday, went with aznearthdragon so I could go hang with the dorko bobbleheadvi. Didn't really do much that day.. Later, aznearthdragon was done with school and she and Kevin came over. Hung a little, then went to JC Penny to shop and bought stuff to wear for graduation.

Tuesday was my dear aznearthdragon's graduation. It was boring, as usual, but yeah.. My girl was salutatorian. After graduation, went home so my bro could change, then went to Costco. After Costco, went out to eat and yeah.. Pictures of graduation and afterwards are HERE and HERE.

Wednesday, went to bobbleheadvi's place to hang while aznearthdragon went to Mesa. After that, hung at bobbleheadvi's place, then went to JC Penny to return something, then walked around Fashion Valley. Bought bobbleheadvi shoes and then went to Chopstix to eat. After that, dropped the dork off and stuff, then went home.

Thursday, went to school with aznearthdragon so she could get her diploma, then went with bobbleheadvi to UCSD while aznearthdragon went to Mesa to take a math placement test. At UCSD, bobbleheadvi went to change his major. Future changed in less than five minutes from bio major to structural engineering major. =O But I'm positive that that engineering is way better suited for my babe. He's not a bio person, lol. Hope he does well...

On Sunday (yesterday), got my hair cut. Now it's like, a little past my shoulders. =O


And now we're up to today and I hope to post more regularly now, haha. I have more to say, but I'm tired of typing now, so more later. BLAHHHH!

YESTERDAY
bobbleheadvi came over and we hung out and watched TV and stuff.. Then later, went to the park and walked around. After walking a round, went to McDonalds to get food and came back to eat. After that, hung out a little more, then he left around 3:45.

People came home and yeah..

aznearthdragon got into UCSD! XD OMG YAY! Was all excited and stuff.. XD

Just hung out downstairs with aznearthdragon, mostly..


TODAY
Went to Mission Valley to watch 300. Phong and bobbleheadvi came to get us 'cause bobbleheadvi couldn't get the car. Phong drives a truck, so yeah.. we were all just squeezed in the truck, haha. Made a stop at Vien Dong 'cause Phong had to get stuff, then after that, went to Mission. Wandered around for a while, then went into the theatre to just watch the boringness 20 minutes before the movie started.

300 was pretty good. The ending was ehh. I think the perfect ending spot would have been after the king died.. It didn't really need to go on, IMO. But yeah.. I liked how he deliberately cut the "god" Pershan dude on the mouth and he totally freaked out about bleeding and OMG being motal, haha. I thought that was very.. I dunno.. A small detail, but I liked it.

After that movie, went to Minh's house to hang a bit, then went to Kearny Mesa Bowl with all of Kevin's friends. Didn't end up bowling 'cause the league was suppose to play in an hour or whatever.. Went to Boomers instead and played miniature golf with all the peoplez.

WEDNESDAY
So after I posted on Wednesday, I renamed the pictures of my models and yeah.. After that, it was about five, so went with the suitemates to eat dinner. There was already a line. x_x And they had red tablecloths! XP But yeah.. I was waiting in the line to get in and I see the chocolate-covered strawberries and there were only a few left and PEOPLE TOOK THEM ALL BEFORE WE COULD GET TO THEM! OMG! ;_; Stupid people. Stupid Stenner for not putting out more. >O

Anywayz.. The shrimp was pretty good, but the meat looked gross. I had this huge slab and part of it looked like fat and the other part that looked was like, pink and I wasn't about eat that shit. So yeah.. Just ate asparagus and shrimp.. After that, went back to my room and finished packing up stuff, then Marcela called, so got my stuff and went out to wait for her. She finally came and we headed for Shanni's car and waited for Shanni 'cause she had to get something from her room. Finally, she came back and we went to pick up Shanni's friend and then headed home.

The drive was pretty boring.. Shanni drove pretty fast though 'cause we got to Del Mar around 10:30. She dropped off her friend, then went back to Solano Beach to drop off Marcela 'cause her mom came to get her. After that, we went to Shanni's house and I called bobbleheadvi to come pick me up.

Hung out in Shanni's house for about 20 minutes, eating cereal and yeah.. Just sitting there waiting. Then bobbleheadvi called, so Shanni drove me over to the McDonalds near the fairground and dropped me off and I went home with bobbleheadvi.

Ate some food at his house, then we went to bed. Was hard to sleep though.. Was so tired, but couldn't fall asleep. Then later, I think I might have been asleep, but I was facing the room and then Tammy turns on the computer to use it and I was like x_x 'cause yeah and had to turn over. Then later, I think Cathy came in, but I was out of it, so I don't really know what happened, lol. Then later, around 7:30, aznearthdragon called and I was thinking, "What is that noise?" and I didn't even recognize it was the phone, let along a song, 'cause I was just that tired. bobbleheadvi told me to go get it, but yeah. Was out of it, so yeah... He went to get the phone and yeah. I forgot to tell aznearthdragon I was at bobbleheadvi's house and stuff. Stupid me. x_x


THURSDAY
So we got up around 8:00-ish or whatever.. Got ready and then I tried to work on physics homework while bobbleheadvi was watching Bleach. Got about two problems done, then gave up. Sat around and did nothing for a while, then bobbleheadvi went to shower and I just went online for a bit. After that, we got out stuff together and then went out.

Bought food for bobbleheadvi's mom and went to give it to her, then went to Emerald's to eat dim sum. I felt bad for wanted to eat dim sum since it's expensive and all.. =( But yeah.. Ate there and then got some for aznearthdragon 'cause she wanted some and we went to Kearny to drop it off at her desk. After that, went to UCSD and hung in the car for a while 'cause bobbleheadvi wanted to nap.

After a while, we went out and onto the shuttle and went to his class. Sat in during his math discussion class and yeah.. Pretty boring.. They were doing vectors. Ewww.

After class, went to the price center and into the bookstore. Walked around looking at stuff for a while and bobbleheadvi went to his other class. After hanging around the bookstore, I got bored, so went to the library. Went on the computer and worked on my speech for a bit, then ended up wandering around for a while before going out to meet bobbleheadvi. Talked to aznearthdragon on the phone until bobbleheadvi came, then went on the shuttle and went back to the car. Drove to Minh's house.

Hung out at Minh's house for a while.. bobbleheadvi registered for classes and then was watching him and Kevin play Madden.. And yeah. At 7:25-ish, left and went to California Burrito to eat. Had carne asada fries and then later on, Josh and Teng came. Teng ate and me and bobbleheadvi were just hanging in the car waiting for them. After they were done, went to park at Gunar's house and went in Josh's car to go play pool.

Played pool with them for a while, then later, we left around 9:50.. Teng decided to take a smoke break, so took longer than it should have. x_x

Went back to Gunar's, got bobbleheadvi's car, and then he drove me home. Got home around 10:20.

Took a shower and then went to bed.. Talked to aznearthdragon for a while, then went to sleep and yeah...

Woke up at six-something today with aznearthdragon and got ready and ate breakfast. After that, went to Kearny with aznearthdragon. Hung in the range for a while, then finally, bobbleheadvi showed up around 7:45 or something. Continued hanging in the range, then later, went with aznearthdragon when the bell rang.

Class was.. interesting. They changed the lock for the classroom, so they couldn't open the door. After walking back and forth a bit from one side of the building to the other and back, they finally open the door and we could go in. Went on the computer with bobbleheadvi and didn't really do that much. Around 9:30, we left and drove back to bobbleheadvi's house. Hung out in his room and went on the computer and stuff.. Around 12:45 or something, Thien came and we went to UCSD. Got there and waited in line so they could buy their parking permits and yeah.. After that, went to the bookstore and walked around a bit, then left and went back to bobbleheadvi's house.

Hung around for a little bit, then went to eat pho. After eating, went to Kearny and waited in the car until it was about time for the bell to ring.

Hung in the range mostly after school.. Visited the peoplez outside doing squad and platoon a bit, but yeah.. That's about it..

bobbeheadvi left at 4:30 to go pick up his sister.. Then we left and yeah..

So sad.. I have to go back to SLO. =(

Went to UCSD for a campus tour today for aznearthdragon. It was kinda boring, haha. XP But yeah.. It's a nice school and they have a lot of entertaining things on campus.. Too bad Cal Poly isn't like that. x_x BLEH!~ Anywayz.. After that, my parents wanted to go to the beach, but we went around forever looking for parking, but couldn't find any, so just left. Went to Fry's to look around, then went to Wal-Mart. After that, went to pick up my glasses and then went to Costco where my parents, aunt, and Steven ate pizza and me and aznearthdragon just watched. Got our pictures and my contacts, then left.

Watched Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl.. Didn't finish though 'cause aznearthdragon didn't want to. Will finish tomorrow..

I wanna go watch the second one!~ ARGH!~ I don't know when we can go though.. Stupid training half of next week.. I kinda wanna go on Monday or Tuesday, but I dunno.. On Tuesday, I say aznearthdragon should go to the internship fair thing, but I dunno.. x_x BLEH!~ We'll see, I guess...
